  • We absolutely do. We also try our best to educate people about the longevity of designs in terms of scale and detail. What some small designs can look like long term in the skin is drastically different that what it looks like in even 10-15 years. We try to have those conversations with people in a way that they can make informed decisions about what they want on their body long term without being condescending about it.

  • Yes, we encourage and do our best to accommodate all walk-ins with no appointments 7 days a week. Feel free to call ahead and check on availability for that day.

  • Walk-ins are typically on a first come, first served basis based on the availability we have on any given day. While most days we have at least one artist available to do walk-ins, there can be times where everyone has a full day. We always recommend giving a call or stopping by closer to when we open at 11 so there's a better chance of us being able to fit someone in.

  • Yes, we are open 7 days a week between 11am - 7pm.

  • While cash is always preferred each artist can be different. Other methods can be debit cards, credit cards, VISA, Discover, American Express, MasterCard, Apple Pay, Android Pay, Venmo, etc. Not all artists accept card or electronic payment, if you are unsure you can always contact the shop or your artist individually.

  • While we do not have a designated parking lot area to use, there is always plenty of street parking in the neighborhood within close walking distance of the shop. Please do not park behind the building or at the Beaumont Market, we do not have permission for these spaces and you are at risk of being towed.

  • This varies from person to person and sometimes the size and type of tattoo. On average a simple tattoo takes 2-4 weeks and larger can take 4-6 weeks.

  • It’s important to wear comfortable clothes that allow access to the area being tattooed. Also, if you prefer to watch anything on your phone or listen to music, please bring headphones.

  • Most deposits are non-refundable, but this is handled case by case and by the artist you have an appointment with. To cancel, contact your artist directly. We do ask that you cancel with at least 24-hour notice. You can call the shop to notify us, but it is preferable to communicate with the artist you are booked with to ensure they can adjust accordingly and reschedule if needed.

  • Although it is great to have the whole crew in attendance, it’s best to keep the body count to a minimum, as space can be limited when the shop is full with other artists and their clients.

  • At Gold Sparrow Tattoo, we understand that unexpected circumstances can arise for both our clients and our artists. Our goal is to ensure a fair and accommodating approach to rescheduling and handling deposits in the rare event that your artist needs to cancel an appointment.

    Deposit policy:

    1. Rescheduling: In the event that your artist had to cancel your appointment, generally they will offer you the first opportunity to reschedule at your convenience, ensuring that your deposit is transferred to the new appointment time.

    2. Each artist deals with their schedules directly as we are all independent contractors so we do not have direct access to change or agree to change an appointment with an artist.

    3. Our artists will communicate with you as soon as possible if there are any changes to your scheduled appointment. If in the rare case your artist is unable to contact you directly we will do our best to ensure we reach out and notify. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility and commit to working with you to find the most suitable solution.

  • No, we do not offer piercing in the shop. We do recommend Soulfire Body Piercing, Velvet Elvis or Ritual Arts.
